T-Mobile launches first third-party served mobile campaign

LONDON - MediaCom is launching the first third-party served mobile campaign for T-Mobile using Eyeblaster's ad campaign manager to serve ads across the Nokia media network.

It claims to be the first third-party served mobile campaign spanning multiple mobile and online publishers.

Eyeblaster's Channel Connect for Mobile will allow MediaCom to serve ads to multiple mobile publishers while receiving third-party delivery data, unified cross channel reports and real-time optimisation.

It is designed to remove barriers to mobile such as having to send media plans, creatives and changes separately to each individual publisher.

It also claims to remove inconsistency in measurement and difficulty consolidating online and mobile reports.

Stefan Bardega, director of digital at MediaCom, said: "The lack of integrated analytics and ad serving for agencies has been a looming concern for scaling mobile advertising.

"Third-party ad serving was really what drove the growth of web advertising, and the emergence of Eyeblaster ACM and Channel Connect for Mobile represents a similar milestone in mobile advertising."

Sam Taylor, head of advertising and sponsorship at T-Mobile, said: "As a mobile brand it is only natural that we harness mobile advertising for our marketing needs.

"It's great to see MediaCom using the highest level of technology available in the sector to make it happen for us."
