Syzygy designs London 2012 Olympic bid website

LONDON - The London 2012 Olympic Games bid company has selected internet services firm Syzygy to design and build London 2012's new campaign website.

Syzygy was appointed alongside ad agency M&C Saatchi to assist London 2012 in its bid to bring the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games to the UK.

The replaces a holding site and will play an important role in communicating information about the bid and providing visitors with up-to-date information on the bid's progress.

The first phase of the relaunched website will go live on January 16 with news updates and high-impact information about the bid. Later phases will launch innovative interactive elements on the website.

Stephen Priestnall, managing director at Syzygy, said: "This is a very prestigious project for Syzygy to win; it's great to be part of such a talented team working to deliver a project that's so important to London and the UK."
