Parkour Ride, created by cycling events and entertainment company Face Partnership, takes place on 4 October at Tobacco Dock in East London, and is the first UK cycling event to bring different cycling disciplines together under one roof. Road, fixed-gear, mountain and BMX riders will compete head-to-head in an elimination tournament in a test of speed, ability and bravery.
Male and Female amateur riders will line up against professionals including Swatch Proteam member, Sam Pilgrim and former World Champion BMX rider Liam Phillips in the urban venue where spectators can enjoy the cycling alongside bars, street food stalls and DJs.
James Pope, managing director of Face Partnership said: "Swatch are trend-setters in terms of fashion and mechanics and their innovation links to our desire to create something completely unique in cycling and unite different types of riders together.
"Furthermore, Swatch fits perfectly with the image of Parkour Ride as more than just a cycling event, but a full entertainment package for fans who love sports, music, and keeping up with the latest trends in lifestyles and communications. As the inaugural event of its kind the credibility and support they bring as a brand is invaluable."
