SwapitShop allows users to bid for chance to chat to boy band

Online kids' and teen marketplace SwapitShop is offering users the chance to bid for a phone call from Island Records' Busted as part of a wider promotion for the boy band.

Kids and teens can bid with Swapits, the site's online currency, to get the call from the band wherever they want to receive it, such as at school to impress their friends.

SwapitShop will also offer access to a virtual sticker album on the home page. Busted fans can download the album, which then sits on their PC desktop.

Users can search across the web and download stickers of the band from SwapitShop, and from a range of other sites, including The Sun (www.thesun.co.uk) and pop magazine site Smash Hits (www.smashhits.net), as well as from their own site, busted.com.

The online activity will back the recent release of the band's eponymous album. It has been handled by marketing agency Digital Outlook.
