
To showcase its summer offerings, The Swan held an evening of cocktails and canapés in its Balcony Room last Thursday (25 April).
With views of the sun setting over St Paul’s Cathedral, guests enjoyed a selection of oysters, cheese and charcuterie, as well as a host of quirky sweet treats provided by the restaurant’s chefs. Desserts featured strawberry and basil lollipops and deconstructed toffee apples.
Entertainment included a gypsy jazz duo and a doo-wop band provided by Sternberg Clarke, before guests were given a tour of the Underglobe - the event space underneath the Globe Theatre that can seat up to 350 people.
