BBC Magazines has signed a six-figure deal with Suzuki through its newly-formed Key Customer Group.
An October campaign for the brand will include advertorials in Radio Times, Eve, Good Homes, Gardeners' World and Good Food, offering readers the chance to win a Mark Warner holiday or one of 4,000 comedy DVDs from BBC Worldwide. It also features an advertorial at radiotimes.com linking to Suzuki's website.
Key Customer Group ad director Matt Teeman said: "Pitching against other mediums we were able to deliver an exciting portfolio of magazines - including four magazines that have never carried product advertising before - plus online and in-store activity."
Andy Taylor, client media director for Media Design, Suzuki's media planning and buying agency, said: "BBC
Magazines demonstrated not only a clear understanding of the supplied brief, they delivered solutions that embraced the Suzuki brand identity coupled with an innovative media approach."
BBC Magazines unveiled its centralized ad team earlier this year, which aims to generate cross-media sales from corporate clients.
Research by Naked before its launch identified key characteristics of BBC Magazines readers as well as similarities between titles in its portfolio.
