The focus for the day is on extending knowledge from the basics (switching the lights off and printing double sided, for example) to the more indepth. Expert speakers and panels will deal with a broad range of issues such as transport, energy, waste, procurement, BS8901 and social responsibility.
Speakers confirmed so far include the writer, broadcaster and founder of Forum for the Future, Jonathon Porritt, who will be delivering the morning keynote, Locog's Phil Cumming and Amanda Kiely and Hay Festival greenprint director Andy Fryers.
The event will also feature others sessions looking at how technology such as video-conferencing could affect event sustainability, while social media will once again play a huge role in the event, with delegates invited to join the LinkedIn group to submit questions in advance, follow news on Twitter and suggest content to be covered in the sessions.
