Susie Moore departs O2 to pursue new venture

Moore, head of brand innovation at O2, will not be returning from maternity leave after the birth of her second child. O2 said that she is pursuing a new venture, called ‘brandplay'.

Moore is a former head of brand for O2 before being seconded into the head of brand innovation position.

She is also a shareholder in the sex toy company Shy, which was set up Shadi Halliwell, O2's current head of brand. Moore is assisting Halliwell with the roll-out of the latest products as well as brand and creative strategies.

In September, O2 announced it was restructuring its commercial marketing team with the loss of an estimated 10% of its employees. As a result of the changes O2's head of sponsorship and events, Mark Stevenson, was promoted to head the mobile operator's new segment marketing division.
