As part of the "Secrets of the boudoir" campaign for No.7, Mother has created "Alice in boudoirland", in which a woman is followed in her dream-like journey from one ill-fitting boudoir to another until she finds her perfect match.
Set to 'White Rabbit' by Jefferson Airplane, the ad features a world where anything can happen, highlighting that getting ready is the best part of a night out -- the moment sitting in front of the mirror with all the potential of the night still to come.
According to Mother, the campaign is a conscious move away from conventional make-up advertising, with airbrushed celebrities, huge mascara wands and strange scientific diagrams.
This 50-second spot is designed to incorporate different products while focusing on the No.7 range.
Director on the spot is Chris Palmer, through Gorgeous Enterprises. Director of photography is Bruno Delbonnel of 'Amelie' fame, while the art director is Brian Morris.
