The Sun causes havoc in Big Brother house with fly-past

LONDON - The Sun attempted to cause havoc after it flew a giant banner low over the 'Big Brother' house yesterday, which read: 'Only Becki nominated Michelle!'.

Michelle, who was kissed "Judas style" by Becki last week, stormed up to the bisexual new addition and demanded to know whether it was true, as the housemates last night made the latest round of nominations, which are due to be revealed later today.

Producers pulled the sound at 3.09pm as the girls began an animated spat in the garden. It was reported that after Michelle confronted Becki, the new housemate lied by insisting to the Geordie she had not been allowed to make any nominations last week. The girls then turned the tables on The Sun by accusing the tabloid of deliberately trying to stir up trouble in the house.

The sound was not restored for an hour in a bid to keep the message a secret. A show insider revealed: "Producers battled to get the housemates inside before they saw the message but it was too late."

The housemates have been banned from talking about the plane's message and the official Channel 4 has no mention of the incident, so it is undoubtedly going to be shown in tonight's 10pm episode.

Series producer, Endemol, must also be fuming about reports released today by Virgin Radio, which claim insider sources at 'Big Brother 5' have revealed the housemates up for eviction tomorrow will be Becki, Dan and Jason.

"Secret" diary room nominations have been tipped off early every week so far either by announcements, radio stations, tabloids or specialist websites.

Tensions are mounting inside the house. The jungle cats Victor and Jason are less than happy about being excluded from this week's nominations as their punishment for discussing nominations.

The duo are expecting to hear their names announced tomorrow, despite the unofficial indications that only Jason has been nominated. Victor has been the most vocal with his complaints, criticising Big Brother for having favourites and applying rules only when it suits.

"It's not a level playing field. The funny thing about it is -- can you remember the week Emma and Michelle were in the bedsit? - they [Big Brother] never spoke to anyone about nominations that week. So it's all right for people to talk about nominations when it suits them, but any time apart from that, no... unless it's one of their favourite characters."
