After the other housemates had made made their nominations, new housemate Becki was called into the diary room and told that she would be given the chance to nominate in secret and that her nominee would automatically face the public vote.
Becki was told to leave the diary room and make her choice known to Big Brother by kissing the person she wants to nominate for eviction on both cheeks, like Judas.
After a few minutes of indecision, she eventually kissed Michelle. Originally, Becki was told that she would not be able to vote. She is exempt from eviction this week because she only entered the house on Sunday.
According to bookmaker Ladbrokes, odds of 1/3 make Nadia the favourite to leave. Michelle is next at 4/1 followed by Marco at 5/1. Spokesman Warren Lush said: "Marco is safe in our eyes as the group he leads is the strongest unit in the camp. A bit more screeching over the next few days will cement his place in the house."
Each housemate was required to give a valid reason for their choice of nominees yesterday.
Daniel said that he voted for Marco because "he's very much a creature of Gollum. There's two sides to him -- a nice side and an evil and nasty side" and "because of his refusal to eat anything other than chicken nuggets and it makes a huge hole in our shopping budget".
Ahmed said he voted for Nadia because "she defends Marco verbally and physically. She's his bodyguard and his puppet".
Geordie Michelle threw a tantrum after learning she had been nominated for eviction. She ranted: "Fuck you all. I bet you've nominated me. What's wrong with me? You're all fuckers."
Meanwhile, Dan's odds on winning have improved, with his odds cut from 5/2 to 2/1.
