StrawberryFrog wins pan-Europe launch task for web broker

StrawberryFrog has won the pan-European task to launch Internaxx, the international online brokerage service for expatriates.

The agency won the business after a pitch against a number of undisclosed agencies. The incumbent, Maher Bird Associates, was awarded the business last June.

Internaxx is a joint venture between Banque Generale du Luxembourg and the discount broker TD Waterhouse Group. The service will aim to offer online equity investing with real-time access to international stock exchanges in North America, the UK and Europe, managed from Luxembourg.

StrawberryFrog has produced an advertising campaign which will break with a viral mpeg film campaign, followed by press, television and other online media.

The first work to break is a commercial that opens on the expatriate validation office. A French woman is trying to convince two officers that she is a true expatriot but she is recognised and does not pass the validation process, with amusing consequences.

Robert Glaesener, the chief marketing officer of Internaxx, said: "We have selected StrawberryFrog because they are a truly multicultural team, filled with expats, who understand our customers and our brand very well.

Internaxx has become a reference for providing online brokerage services, as a top-tier company, to expats across Europe, and now we would like more and more customers to know about it."
