Stella Artois was created as a Christmas gift to the city of Leuven in Belgium, according to the brand's global festive campaign.

The ad, which was created by Mother, focuses on the Artois brewer who invented the lager, and his struggle with finding the right name for his concoction, as well as imagining what might have influenced him to finally settle on "Stella". The ad will run globally on TV, though not in the UK.
