Stella Artois backs tennis event online

Stella Artois is launching a microsite for the Queen's Club tennis championships in partnership with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

The microsite (www.stella artoistennis.com) will provide live scores and the latest news plus information on competitors. Details will include order of play, player profiles and audio interviews. Visitors will also be able to pre-book tickets for the tournament online.

Stella aims to use the site to deepen its association with tennis and the fact that it was the founding sponsor of the annual Queen's event, which is now in its 26th year.

Agency Draft London created the microsite, which has been aligned with Stella.co.uk.

Kevin McQuillan, sponsorship manager at Stella Artois, said: "We wanted to deliver a site that visitors could use to find relevant and interesting information on the tournament quickly and easily, as well as adding depth to their enjoyment of the championships."

Andrew Clark, account manager at Draft London, said: "The site will have real depth for the enthusiast, with plenty of live content, interviews and detail. The Stella Artois Championships are a fantastic vehicle for the brand, and have a rich history in their own right."

He added: "Showcasing this and providing a genuinely rewarding experience for tennis fans is our main objective."
