Starcom Motive withdraws from £60m Kia media pitch

LONDON - Starcom Motive will not be repitching for the £60m European media account for Kia Motors.

The review, revealed in ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 last month, marks an attempt by the company to consolidate its business into one agency network.

Kia invited Starcom, which is the incumbent for the £12m UK account, and four other agencies to pitch for the centralised business. Vizeum, which handles Kia's corporate media planning and buying, is also involved in the pitch.

The review was the third that Starcom has faced from the motor manufacturer in as many years.

Kia is also reviewing its creative account. In the UK, it is currently handled by Mustoes.
