The Publicis agency picked up the business following a competitive pitch against the incumbent Brilliant Media and paid search specialist agency Greenlight.

Dreams in December last year, which coincided with the incumbent Robson Brown entering administration.

At the time Brilliant Media, which has offices in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds, also pitched for the above-the-line account.

Dreams launched a 2010, which resulted in Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R's appointment to the account in February, after a head-to-head with Publicis London.

Robson Brown, the incumbent on the creative account, had to withdraw from the process when it was forced to cease trading last December.

Previous Dreams campaigns have predominantly focused on price-led advertising activity, and the company's wide variety of beds.

Its most recent ad campaigns have used the strapline "Everything for a great night's sleep".
