Starbucks offers vouchers for 'Free Muffin Day'

The coffee chain is emailing vouchers to its loyalty scheme members offering a printable entitling the holder to a free muffin if they buy a coffee.

Although the muffin vouchers are targeted towards loyalty cardholders, you do not need to be a member of the scheme to receive the free treat.

The offer follows on from a similar deal in the US where the chain created the concept of ‘free pastry day’ on July 21. Again the food came free with the purchase of a coffee although there was no FairTrade element to the promotion.

Separately the brand has also launched a UK specific . The site will be used to announce offers and new store initiatives.

Earlier this year Starbucks distributed vouchers offering free ice cream through its US Facebook group.
