Starbucks launches search for EMEA customer engagement agency

Starbucks has kicked off a search for its first European-wide customer engagement agency.

Starbucks launches search for EMEA customer engagement agency

The brief, for a retained EMEA CRM agency, is in its early stages. The coffee shop giant has contacted specialist CRM and digital agencies with a request for agency credentials.

The review is being run through Creativebrief. The company declined to comment.

Starbucks appointed Iris as its creative agency across the EMEA region last year, but there is no incumbent UK or EMEA agency for CRM. When launching the ad review, the brand said it wanted an agency to help it "celebrate how Starbucks' coffee leadership comes to life across a diverse region".

Iris was Starbucks’ first specialist creative agency to work across the region and, as an integrated agency with CRM capability, would be well-placed to take part in this new review. Iris would not comment.

Lida, however, was appointed to handle rival Costa’s global loyalty strategy account last year after a competitive pitch.

The brand also works with Oliver, which provides an in-house unit that manages in-store and point-of-sale activity.

Starbucks did not return a request for comment from ±±¾©Èü³µpk10.
