Located in Tanner Street in London, the More Than exhibition, devised with Cow PR, is taking place across two days from 19-20 August. It consists of a series of interactive art installations created by artist Dominic Wilcox, all of which are created for dogs and inspired by activities that they love to do.
The activation is part of More Than Insurance's #PlayMore campaign, which aims to encourage dog and cat owners everywhere to spend more time playing with their pet.
The gallery will also feature a series of original paintings, drawings and multimedia video exhibits created by a collective of other artists for dogs to enjoy. Upon arrival at the venue, guests and their dogs will be directed through the space to experience each of the interactive installations in turn.
The installations include ‘Post’ – an artist’s interpretation of a dog’s excitement when letters fall through the letterbox; ‘Scent satisfaction’ – a woodland landscape created using only the colours dogs can see and ‘Drumstick Park’ – a park scene that envisages chicken drumsticks being used as a dog’s point of reference.
The exhibition will also feature a multimedia video installation for dogs that simulates a frisbee bouncing around a screen, a giant 10-foot dog food bowl filled with hundreds of toy balls resembling dog food and a 'head out of the car' simulator that gently blows wind and scents through the air for dogs to enjoy. There will also be a series of dancing water jets that jump from one dog water bowl to the next for dogs to chase.
