
The festival, organised by Sportsvision, took place from 30 October to 1 November 2009 at Battersea Power Station and also featured perfomances from Eagles of Death Metal and Friendly Fires.
Highlights included a 32m high ski jump and over 500 tonnes of snow. The event featured the LG FIS Snowboard World Cup on Saturday daytime. Ben Kilner was Britain's top finishing competitor, coming 14th out of 53.
Citrus and vanilla spirit brand Tuaca created an Austrian-themed experiential bar at the festival as well as holding a Tuaca Off-Piste DJ Battle featuring pro-snowboarders, Scott Nixon, Dom Harrington and Christian Stevenson.

Before the festival, Freeze Connect, an online social networking tool, helped create a buzz by uniting MySpace, Twitter and Facebook users. Participants had access to breaking news and the ability to enter LG ‘Life’s Good’ competitions.
