Spooky tales push urban label 55DSL's winter range

LONDON - Urban streetwear label 55DSL is pushing its winter clothing range with an eerie collection of stories called 'Dark Tales, Only to Be Read at Home'.

The catalogue has been created by Amsterdam-based creative agency KesselsKramer, with illustrations by the comic book artist Ashley Wood, who lives in Australia.

The stories are all set in the village of Helton Hollow, where grim goings-on take place. Some of the characters featured include Sleepwalking Sue, who never sleeps in the same bed twice, and Mirror Ball Jane with her well-sharpened ice skates. All the inhabitants are fans of 55DSL clothes.

The catalogue will be produced in two versions, a limited edition deluxe version of 500, with the first 200 signed by the artist, and a regular version, available in 55DSL stockists.

It will also be featured on the later this month.

The catalogue was written by Tyler Wisnand and art directed by Nils-Peter Lovgren under creative director Dave Bell.
