
The network has poached Media Sales Networks' digital sales manager Martin Tingle to head its new office. He will provide a specialist service to agencies across the north of England, Scotland and Wales, due to increasing pressure from existing clients to expand into the regional market.
At Media Sales Networks, Tingle was responsible for building agency contacts across the UK, developing creative campaigns and securing new digital business opportunities.
The opening of the Manchester office follows Specific Media's recent appointment of former Turner Media Innovations' sales director Ian Dowds, as UK vice-president.
Dowds joined Specific Media following four years at Turner Broadcasting, where he was in charge of advertising, sponsorship, online and new-media revenue across the company's channels.
Specific Media connects advertisers with target audiences across its network of name brand publishers through advanced demographic, behavioural, contextual, geographic and retargeting technologies.
