Series 14a of 'South Park' premiers in the UK on Comedy Central this Friday (19 March), 48 hours after it is first shown on American TV. It will run until 7 May.

Moosehead is using the sponsorship to raise awareness of its reasonably priced men's hair, skin and body products which first launched in the UK in 2007.

The six figure deal booked by media agency Concord (London) and the idents were made by the Comedy Central in-house creative team.

A spokesman from Comedy Central said Moosehead's sponsorship is the first time a brand has sponsored 'South Park' on UK television.

South Park first launched 13 years ago. This series includes the 200th episode of the show which airs on 16 April and will star a number of guest appearances.

The Moosehead brand is available in Tesco, Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

In February Comedy Central announced the US comedy series 'Friends' will move from Channel 4's family of channels to Comedy Central from autumn 2011.
