Sony Computer Entertainment is celebrating 18 years of the PlayStation with a new online video. Drum created the spot, which charts the evolution of the computer console and builds excitement ahead of launch of the PlayStation 4 in November. It opens in a bedroom in 1995, the year when the first PlayStation was released. As the camera pans around the room, the viewer is taken forward in time – the surroundings become more modern and teenagers play with newer versions of the console. The work was written and art directed by Ben Kerr and Mark Rivers, and directed by Will Smith and Adam Wells at Gotgotneed.
