The new on-demand music video-streaming service, which is free to download, will launch this summer. It offers users unlimited streaming of music videos from a library of content to watch from their PS3 or have streamed to their PSP via remote play. Users will also be able to download tracks, tones and music video for a small charge to their mobile in selected countries.

Unanimis will lead all advertising for the service, including pre-rolls, MPUs and leader boards. It will also be responsible for brokering sponsorship and integrated campaigns across the service in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia. Other PlayStation Network countries will soon follow.

The service will launch in all markets apart from Australia, where it will launch at the end of the year. It also offers live concert footages, behind-the-scenes interviews and making of footages and will be supported by major record labels.

This month, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe handed its £67m media account to OMD across 11 countries worldwide, with its £8.5m UK media brief retained by MG OMD.
