The initial workshop-style events focus on sleeve making for records. Each session will focus on a particular discipline, and how it can be used to create a record sleeve.
Participants will be able to submit their creations upon conclusion of the workshop, for a chance to have it featured in the Secret 7" exhibition from 8 April to 1 May, which will also be hosted at Sonos Studios.
London-based artist Peter Fowler is hosting the first event, a painting masterclass on 31 January. Tickets to the workshop sold out within hours, however details of an additional two or more workshop-style events will be announced over the coming weeks.
Secret 7" has teamed up with Amnesty International UK for the 2016 event, and people are being encouraged to donate to the charity in return for a ticket.
Each year the team behind Secret 7" selects seven songs by well-known musicians, which are pressed to 7" vinyl 100 times. This year's featured artists include Chvrches, Tame Impala and Etta James.
Artists from around the globe are then invited to design a sleeve for the vinyls, and the 700 creations are displayed in a charity exhibition, where each 7" is sold for £50. Members of the public are not told who designed their sleeve, or which song the vinyl has been pressed with until they make a purchase.
