
Songbird Events is the brainchild of Nicola Breeze, who previously worked for five years as head of marketing for UK trade body The Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA).
The business specialises in organising high-end events for private individuals and corporate clients. Event management services will include concept creation, sourcing suppliers and securing venues.
Breeze told Event: "Having worked at the ABFA for five years, I wanted to see what I could do moving forward. My top priority is providing a personalised, bespoke, distinct service, but I could certainly see working with clients in both the UK and abroad."
Breeze will initially be working on her own, but she said her workforce could grow in the future.
"In terms of taking on new staff, it depends on how quickly the business grows, but maybe in the next five years I could see us taking on one or two new employees," she said.
