Slice appoints new marketing director

Slice has hired Rupert Cheswright, former head of experiential at Line Up, to the new role of marketing director.

Cheswright, who joins today (3 February), will be responsible for business development at Slice as well as managing the agency’s social and industry media output.

"I'll be focusing on using the knowledge I've gained in 16 years of experiential and integrated marketing to develop relationships," said Cheswright.

Last month, former TBA head of consumer engagement, to lead accounts within the Engine Group and further afield.

Tom Rutter, managing director of Slice, said that the appointments are a result of a successful 2013 for the agency and part of its 2014 growth plans.
