The exhibition is organised by UBM and featured a conference and the European Hotel Design Awards, which took place on 23 November. More than 700 people attended the awards, 118 more than the previous year.
For the second year running, the event set up a Sleepotel with 14 unique room sets created by architects and designers such as Maria Vafiadis of MKV Design and Charles Leon of Charles Leon Associates.
New to the exhibition this year was the Product Innovation Awards, displayed within the Innovation Zone. This year’s winner was lamp SLIM by Chelsom.
The next Sleep Event Exhibition and Conference will take place from 23-24 November 2011. The European Hotel Design Awards will run on 22 November 2011.
