LONDON - Skype has appointed Wolff Olins, TBWA\ and Rapp to its global ad account and CRM programme.

Skype will continue working with incumbent agency Albion until the end of the year. The winning agencies picked up the business following a pitch managed AAR.

Skype has initially shortlisted TBWA together with Wolff Olins, while Rapp partnered with Interbrand, with Draft FCB and Euro RSCG Group following chemistry meetings last week.

Commenting on the appointment, Neil Stevens, VP & GM of Skype's consumer business said: 'These are exciting times for Skype and it's essential we communicate the Skype experience effectively on a global scale.'
