Skittles issues withering response to 'racist' refugees meme from Donald Trump Jr

Skittles owner Wrigley has hit back at Donald Trump Jr after the son of the presidential candidate posted an image meme using a bowl of Skittles as an analogy for Syrian refugees.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Seth Abramovitch contacted Wrigley to ask for its response, and received the following subtle condemnation of the tweet:

With 8,500 retweets and acclaim from Twitter users, Young’s response could perhaps have been misinterpreted as marketing, had it been published directly by the brand.
