Simonson will be responsible for contracting new business and developing current clients, as well as strategic alliances with other key players in the direct marketing arena.
He spent more than nine years at Claritas, where he rose from senior consultant for micromarketing to director of strategic alliances. Prior to this, he was a senior account manager for The Marketing Organisation.
Over the last few years, Simonson has shared his expertise with students on the IDM Diploma course, by lecturing in customer segmentation and targeting.
