Vinopolis has named Simon Wood as its acting managing director following the departure of Samantha Cox at the end of October.
Cox, , has gone on to become chief operating officer of Convivial London Pubs.
Wood, who is chairman of Vinum - the company that manages and caters for Vinopolis’ restaurants Cantina, Brew Wharf and Wine Wharf - will oversee both the corporate and consumer aspects of the business.
He will work alongside the venue’s new head of events Marjory Brown, who joined from the Concerto Group in September.
