More than 50,000 people will attend the event on Glasgow Green, with a line-up including Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Katy Perry and One Direction. Showsec will have 300 staff on duty for the duration of the event.

Scott Anderson, Showsec's regional manager for Scotland, said:"The Scottish office has been open for four years now and this is a major step forward as we look to develop that operation. Scotland is the place to be over the next few months, with so many exciting events."

Showsec is working on several high-profile events with the BBC north of the border in 2014, which has provided a significant boost to its Scotland office. In March, it also secured with T in the Park, which is held in Kinross.
