The revamped title will be unveiled on Thursday (13 May, featuring a raft of changes, including new sections, 'more masculine' fonts, and the axing of its celebrity guest list page.
Editor Terri White said ShortList was defying the market trend of not revamping to offset its falling circulation.
White says the title had undergone tweaks in the past, but this change marked the first actual revamp.
ShortList, which is distributed in London, Manchester and a number of other cities, has a distribution of more than 500,000 – significantly ahead of the circulation of its paid-for magazine rivals.
Two new sections are ‘ShortList Tech', which will feature information about new gadgets, such as the iPad tablet and rival products; and ‘Instructions for Men, which is geared towards men embracing their masculinity.
The title will ditch its recipe page and its "The GuestList" page.
The latter will be replaced by a "more tongue-in-cheek, left-of-field list", according to White.
White said: "There is no shift in the type of content we are producing, but the new artistic changes will make it feel and look more masculine."
