Shelter hires Kay Boycott as communications director

LONDON - Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, has appointed global marketing and public sector strategist Kay Boycott as its director of communications, policy and campaigns.

Boycott, who joins from global strategy firm Oxford Strategic Marketing, has almost 20 years' experience in brand marketing, communications, research and strategy consultancy in the global and UK private and public sectors. She has worked at companies including Nestle Rowntree and Johnson & Johnson, managing brands including Quality Street, Milky Bar and Johnson's Baby.

During her career Boycott has also worked with global companies across a number of different sectors including Boots, GlaxoSmithKline, Vodafone, Sainsbury's Bank, John Lewis and DTZ.
