The promo is in two parts, beginning with Warne as an English convict being sent to Australia in the 1800s and is chained to other convicts on the ship by a burly metalworker, played by former English cricket star Botham.
Former England cricket captain Hussain and former cricketing star David Lloyd look on, dressed as English gentlemen.
As the harbour master, played by Gower, ticks off the convicts' names as they board the ship Warne, in Arnold Schwarzenegger fashion, declares: "I'll be back...". The words "To be continued..." then appear on the bottom of the screen.
Part two is set in an English cricket pavilion in 2005. Botham, Gower, Hussain and Lloyd are dressed in blazers and turn around to see Warne storm in, dressed in his cricket whites spinning a ball in his hands.
With a look of revenge on his face, Warne smirks: "G'day boys, I'm back".
The promo is being broadcast on Sky Sports from now to the middle of June to promote the live coverage of England's one-day international against Australia in the NatWest series and Challenge, as well as for the extended highlights of the Npower Ashes series.
A Sky Sports spokesman said: "We wanted a promo that captured some of the unique history behind the English-Australian sporting rivalry. We're delighted with the finished product and the guys had great fun filming it."
