As part of the event Ballesteros will present an award to the ‘European Golfer of the Year’ as voted by the British public and his own special ‘Seve Award’ to a sportsman he greatly admires.
The event will raise vital funds for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, which is working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to help beat brain cancer.
Ballesteros has been fighting the disease since he was diagnosed two years ago. "I’m thankful that my treatment has been successful so far but that wouldn’t be the case if it wasn’t for the amazing work that’s been done in the past," he said.
"I want to contribute as much as possible do what I can now to help beat this disease so others can benefit in the future, the same way I have done since I was diagnosed with a brain tumour. I hope that you will join me in my fight."
