Selmore scoops German brief for MTV Networks

AMSTERDAM - Independent creative agency Selmore has been appointed by MTV Germany to handle an integrated product campaign to promote the joint mobile phone offering for the German market by MTV and O2.

The campaign breaks in June and includes TV and online strategies, which will initially run in Germany with a possible rollout in various other European territories later in the year.

Joel Berger, senior vice-president of digital and media network development for MTV Germany, said: "The cooperation with O2 in Germany will be the latest addition to MTV's digital offerings portfolio and we are very much looking forward to bringing a new exciting offer to the German mobile market. I am convinced that Selmore is the right partner to help us launch this new project."

Bas Korsten, creative partner at Selmore, said: "To work for a client like MTV, a great international brand which never stands still, feels like a perfect match. We are very pleased that MTV Germany has chosen to work with us, a young creative agency with international ambitions."

Selmore Amsterdam is a fully independent agency founded by four Dutch creatives and a creative planner in January 2005. Its client roster includes; Coca-Cola Netherlands, Thomas Cook Travel, Hachette Filipacchi Media and Skoda.
