Forest Restaurant and Bar on the Roof is set to open on Wednesday (21 October), and it is situated in the same spot as the brand’s summer pop-up, Vintage Salt.

The space will feature foliage typical of Britain's forests, and its menu is to shine the spotlight on ‘foraging and foresting’ techniques.

Comfort food dishes including hot pots, grilled meats, duck shepherd's pie and fish are the focus of the menu, with small plates, mains, sides and desserts inspired by the cooler months available.

Guests will also be able to select from a range of seasonally inspired beverages, including the Black Forest, Fancy Nogg, Truffle Martini and Spicy Cane, as well as warm creations including Mulled Wine and a Gingerbread Choctail.

The experience forms part of Selfridges' annual Destination Christmas retail offering, which this year is themed around the 'Journey to the Stars' concept.
