The appointment follows a tender process managed by John Dix Consulting. Chelsea College of Arts, a Grade II-listed building located on Millbank, London, has recently been restored, retaining many period features including opulent oak panelling, swaged fireplaces, and exquisite stuccowork.
Seasoned said it won the contract after demonstrating its ability to deliver great quality food, coupled with an understanding of the venue, which is used as an educational facility during the day.
Alanah Cullen, head of enterprise at Chelsea College of Arts, said: "Throughout the tender process, Seasoned demonstrated its ability to work within the constraints of delivering high quality events within a fully-functioning university and the empathy to work sympathetically with both staff and students whilst on site."
Colin Sayers, managing director at Seasoned, added: "Seasoned has a fantastic track record or working at unique venues which have alternative uses and this contract reinforces our reputation as caterers that genuinely push the boundaries of food design whilst appreciating the restrictions of our surroundings."
The venue is suited to a range of events, including corporate hospitality, conferences, meetings, fashion shows, summer parties and Christmas functions and caters for guests from 15 up to 200. The venue also benefits from an external courtyard and gardens which can accommodate marquee events for up to 700 guests.
