Santander "Press conference" and "Tiny pens" by Engine

Ant & Dec face a copyright infringement claim in Santander's latest spots.

Continuing the brand’s "Bank of Antandec" series, the ads follow the duo formerly known as PJ & Duncan as they face accusations of copying Santander’s logo.

Addressing the claims in "Press conference", the presenters argue their logo is a baguette – as opposed to a "flame" – before signing off by saying they are "ready to rumble", in reference to their one and only hit.

"Tiny pens" sees attempt to "give the people what they want" – namely, "tiny weeny pens that are really cute and make you feel like a giant".

The work is set to roll out across TV, cinema, video-on-demand, social media and radio, as well as in-store and on the Santander website. It was created by Jessica Watson and Alicia Job, and directed by Declan Lowney through Another Film Company.
