All entrants in the "Win a Pro Contract" competition will be invited to a series of Samsung-sponsored regional trials being held at Goals Soccer Centres across the UK, with the best players going forward to take part in practice matches at three professional club grounds.

The top 22 players from these trials will then appear in a Samsung "Win A Pro Contract" final at Swindon's County Ground, with one lucky player being rewarded with a one-year professional contract with Swindon Town FC.

The winner will be selected by Swindon manager Danny Wilson, and will join the Robins in January 2011.

Along with a professional contract, the player will also be given a boot deal by sports retailer JJB, and will feature on the cover of football magazine FourFourTwo.

He will also become a football ambassador for Samsung and Goals Soccer Centres.

Those interested can apply for a place in the regional trials at .

The launch of the competition coincides with the news that Samsung is to sponsor Swindon's third kit for the 2010/11 season. FourFourTwo sponsors the home and away kits.

Martin Howard, the sponsorship account director for Samsung, said: "Samsung is passionate about sports marketing, and to give someone a life-changing experience through sport represents an exciting next step for us."

Samsung also sponsors top-flight club Chelsea.
