Sam Gunn has entered The Eventice

Sam Gunn is a final year event management student at Manchester Metropolitan University and has entered this year's Eventice.

The Eventice, an Apprentice-styled competition created to provide an opportunity for young and emerging talent to find a job in the event industry, is the braindchild of Event magazine and ESP Recruitment. It is also supported by Blue Hat and UBM.

Gunn will be hoping he is chosen as one of the finalists to compete in a series of challenges that will take place at Confex from 6-8 March, and ultimately the chance to secure an event based job at either the Tarsus Group, or George P Johnson.

Each finalist will have their tests closley monitored, marked and discussed by a team of judges, and made up of industry experts and representatives of both Tarsus and George P Johnson.

Once the candidates have completed the tasks they will be subjected to a number of interviews and a final presentation in front of the judging panel and the audience at Confex.

The deadline for candidates wishing to enter The Eventice is today, Friday 6 January.
