The two new hires will help run the corporate venue hire side of the business following a period of significant growth and increase in event enquiries.
Kelly McGibney joins the team as events executive, having previously worked as an event assistant at the Business Disability Forum along with managing the events team at the Trading Standards Institute. More recently, she managed the Braintree Arts Theatre in north Essex where she was responsible for the management of corporate venue hire and commercial events and performances.
Commenting on her appointment, McGibney said: "I am very excited to be helping to drive the corporate events business forward here at Sadler’s Wells. I’ve also been involved in theatre and performance for over 15 years in various forms so the role here combines two of my biggest passions."
Pascha Rix also joins the team as events assistant. Having studied creative events management at Falmouth University, Pascha went on to coordinate private, corporate and charity events at the Rose Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames after working as events assistant at Fiona Leahy Design in London.
Georgie Mackie, event manager at Sadler’s Wells, said: "We’ve had such a successful year of event bookings here at Sadler’s Wells. We have a number of high-calibre corporate events in the pipeline this year so I’m delighted to welcome them on board to help drive forward the events business here at Sadler’s Wells."
