Russian Standard will take ownership of the festival’s central venue, The Hub, where guests will be able to enjoy complimentary Russian Mule cocktails through a series of outdoor sampling events.
When the sun sets on the venue, the brand will host the Russian Standard Vodka Hub Sessions. These will feature an eclectic line-up of singers, composers, instrumentalists, filmmakers and animators.
Artists booked to perform include Anna Calvi and Heritage Orchestra, Alexi Murdoch and Magnetic Rose.
It is the first time the festival has held these sessions, which have been organised in a bid to broaden Edinburgh International’s programming spectrum.
An advertising schedule will complement Russian Standard’s experiential campaign at the festival. Working with DNA Media, the brand will showcase its Vodka As It Should Be 60 second ad, as well as a three-minute film, on a purpose-built, big-screen installation located outside of the The Hub.
Russian Standard is collaborating with agencies Full Fat and Campus on the marketing initiative.
The Edinburgh International Festival will take place on 7-13 August.
