The exhibition, which celebrates its tenth birthday from 19-20 April at the Business Design Centre, is swapping its signature pink branding for a more classy palate of gold and black featuring the London cityscape.
According to Jodie Richmond, CEO of Exhibition & Trade Fairs (UK), owner of the RSVP global show brand, the new identity is the result of "extensive focus groups following the 2010 shows".
"The refreshed RSVP event identity was developed in response to the evolution of the events industry itself over recent years – the industry is sophisticated, professional, global, diverse and discerning and we felt the old identity wasn’t really reflecting that," she said.
The new design is being rolled out across all the RSVP shows in Australia and the UK with a "unique offering and style for each location".
"Through we’ve clearly identified that whilst the RSVP name has a lot of history and brand equity, the diverse visitor audience is seeking inspiration for their events and better ways to entertain their important guests. The new identity clearly explains what visitors and exhibitors can expect to gain from being part of London’s Event Showcase, RSVP 2011," added Richmond.
The news follows the announcement Single Market events runs the show on behalf of Exhibition & Trade Fairs
