RSPCA targets donors with DRTV fundraising drive

LONDON -The RSPCA is embarking on a fundraising drive with a DRTV campaign featuring stories of animal rescues.

The 'Flashback' campaign will break this week across a range of digital TV channels. If successful, it will be rolled out to terrestrial TV.

The advertising, which positions the charity's staff as heroes, will ask viewers to sign up to a regular donation of £3 a month by direct debit.

The activity is the first TV work by Whitewater for the RSPCA since winning its direct account last August.

Its other work for the charity has included a mailing calling for a change in the law preventing intervention before an animal is abused.
