Roselle Events creates two new positions

Scottish events firm Roselle Events has made two key appointments to support its growing operation.

Helen Batten joins as events manager and Lucy Patterson as executive assistant, creating two new roles and taking the total number of staff up to 14.

Batten previously worked in the public sector, organising events for the NHS and Scottish government, while Patterson brings with her experience in the oil and gas, motor trade, banking and public water sector industries.

The company, which has offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, organised 76 events in six different countries last year generating £3m in turnover.

Charlotte McIntosh, who was promoted from operations director to managing director in July 2012, said: "We are excited to welcome Helen and Lucy to the Roselle Events team and their roles will be key in our development across the Scottish corporate events market and into the pharmaceutical, energy and financial sectors."
