Titled A:3K Football this event will be jointly produced by Aura Entertainment and AEG Live, and will see players including Ronaldo, Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas, David Villa and Didier Drogba go head to head in skills based challenges.
The challenges will take place on a black astroturf surface and will feature technology and theatre with lasers and special effects, created by Hollywood lighting and production designer Marc Brickman.
There are also plans to expand the event into other sports. One of these is rumoured to be cricket.
